i love spontanaity
wow what an amazing weekend.
we pulled it off.
san francisco and back .
left friday after school and got back around 2 today.
there were a few drawbacks along the way such as me forgetting my bag that i had packed with all of my clothes and such in it. it was ok though.
good times were had. i got to see some people that i reallly miss alot.
i played guitar and dani played the bongos on a street corner on haight.
in the 20 min we played we made $1.50, 2 pence from england, and a homeless friend. but we had to stop because our parking meter ran out of time.
i don't know what we would have done without mason(gps in danis car)
i still can't believe we did it.

my life these days consists of
volleyball
homework
little sleep
these two days off were nice but scary i am glad that everyone's house is ok. the air smells like a big campfire and its raining ash.
haaa i love the headling on the LA TIMES today "Roberts is Sworn In" and directly under the headline there is a huuge picture of the sky covered in smoke looking like the end of the world.
3 weeks ago i saw the academy is... for two nights in a row. absolutly incredible
william beckett talked to me for like 1/2 hour. what an incredible fellow.
mike carden spoke to us for quite a while as well. he is awesome.
we also had a word with adam t siska, tom conrad, and butcher. what a fucking awesome band. those guys are great.
quote of the night "there are good shows, there are great shows, and there are fucking LA shows."
yes sir mr. beckett you are correct.
oh yes and the best part was the next night at the chain reaction when mr. beckett comes up from behind me, taps me on the shoulder says "hey steph," and continues walking. yeah he remembered my name. holy shit.
the show @ chain was absolutly incredible. i danced. i sweat more than i think i have ever sweat in my life.

i just got back from costa rica a few days ago. what a trip. the living conditions were'nt all that great and the bugs seemed to take a liking to me (over 250 bites in one week! thats insane.) but the people i met there are the kind of people i'll never forget. unfortunatly they all live on the east coast but i will see them soon. i ramped up my spanish as i had many long conversations with the locals.
so the reason of my trip was to do community service helping to save turtles. i got 36 hours of community service which is cool, but i learned a lot, and now i am aware that things have to change in the world or else every species is going to slowly or in some cases quickly die out because of things that humans are doing.
i am glad to be home with hot running water and a real bed.

on another note i slept over at danis dad's house who lives in malibu right on pch and when i woke up in the morning to go to my car i found that it was not there. hmmm bummer right. $150 towing fee and a $45 ticket later i got my car back. i guess i am an idiot to think that you can park in front of someone's driveway if their house is completely torn up. so that put a small damper on my day.
school in less than 2 weeks FUCK. i have been procrastinating doing AP US work all summer so now i am determined to start it.
going to see the used with dani and christian tomorrow i am way excited.

ok so my summer so far has been quite amazing...
- so i got my wisdom teeth out the day after school got out. that kinda sucked.
- i saw the academy is.. at the most intamate show of my life. while my cheeks were like those of a chipmunks.
- STANFORD SIERRA CAMP was absolutly incredible... i miss it and the people there sooooooooooooo much.
- santa barbara with lisa and michaela was fun and interesting
- the week after santa barbara i got realllly sick and the doctors thought i had mono, but i got a little better so i went up to stanford for volleyball camp. after playing for a day and a half i got sicker and my tonsil grew to the size of golf ball. so i came home a bit early which made me quite sad because i was supposed to visit my friends from ssc after vball camp. finally after going to 5 doctors and blood test and such they finally figured out what was wrong with me, and im almost completely recovered.
- i am going wakeboarding tomorrow
- i am leaving for my chicago/new york excursion on tuesday. ill be back on august 6th
- on august 9th im leaving for costa rica.

wow today = amazing
hutington beach elle girl thingy :
so yesterday i got my wisdom teeth pulled even though i was in major pain i drove 80 miles this morning to go see The Academy Is... w/ david and mia. it was well worth the trip. the show started about an hour late but who cares. the like was pretty good. then TAI came on, i was stading right up against the stage and will's mic chord kept hitting me in the face but its all good :) the boys put on an awesome show... as always. haha mmkkk now time for pictures:

i met taking back sunday!!! wooot woot
Dani and I went to CSUN to see TBS for a free show. But the show was only for CSUN students plus one of their "guests", so we spent a while asking people if they'd take us in with them. We eventually found a couple.
The show itself was incredible. There were only like 1,000 people so we were right next to the stage and some girl even got to sing on stage with Adam. It was amaazing and they played two new songs which were really good.
We didn't stick around to see Jimmy Eat World cuz they're well... Jimmy Eat World.Instead we ran around the buildings (the whole place was fenced off everywhere) to the back where their tour buses were but the guards wouldn't let us in. So we walked around to the side, and there was a fence blocking the way so I moved it and then I convinced Dani to just sneak in. We were basically in this yard area where there crew and stuff were, and food for the band. We see the guitarist walking and we run up to him and talk for a while. He's so chill, talked for like 5 minutes and told us about their upcoming plans and stuff.
Then we see the bassist running and Dani yells out, "MAATTT!!" he just goes "FOOD!" haha then he gets his food and runs back to us and talks for a bit. Then he recorded a message on Dani's cell. He goes "You've reached Danielle but she has been kidnapped by Taking Back Sunday and won't be given back unless we get 1 million dollars." Call it to hear 310 383 0948
He was really nice. Then we see Adam (the singer) eating and we didnt wanna bug him so we waited till he was done then I walked (dani ran) and give him a hug. He was a bit shy, I think he was on somethin cuz he was talking kinda funny too. But he was really nice and then Jimmy Eat World came out of their tour bus and tackled him. It was quite funny.
Then we left. It was an amazing time. Oh and Adam looks like Chad Michael Murray w/ his new hair cut. oh boy its all buzzed and beautiful. i wish i had pictures to document this wonderful day but oh well.
everyone who is going to see this same show on saturday @ LBA it is an amazing show, but the opening band "mates of state" aren't good, so i dont suggest getting there early.

it is MAY! which means many things...
its mother's day next sunday so get yo mamma somethin nice.
Hollywood Ending has a show on the 21st at 8pm @ The Cobalt. (which i know you will ALL be attending)
I am going to see my favorite band + 2 amazing bands on May 28th. (MAE, JamisonParker, The Academy Is...)! yay!
It might get warmer soon?!
and most importantly... SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE!
what are everyone's summer plans?
mine are: Mammoth, Tahoe (SSC!), Santa Barbara, Stanford Vball Camp, San Fransisco, Chicago, New York, Costa Rica
I am so excited this summer is going to be amazing.
